THE RATES:
Below you will find the rates used from January 2023. To start with a psychologist you do not need a referral from the doctor or general practitioner, you can simply make an appointment. In some cases, a partial refund via the health insurance fund is possible. This must be checked with the relevant health insurance fund.
INTAKE
The intake is a first introduction. 75 minutes are provided for this interview.

PSYCHOLOGICAL GUITANCE
60 minutes are provided for every form of psychological counseling. This can be done in practice in Maasmechelen, at your home, or online. Psychological counseling can be either an individual therapeutic session with a child or a counseling session with the parents.

HOME OBSERVATION
During a home observation I come to your home to observe your child in its natural environment. A minimum of 90 minutes is always provided for a home observation. For every extra 30 minutes, an extra 20 euros will be charged.

EXPERIENCE RESEARCH
The child psychologist will listen to your child. The request for help is clarified and we examine how the child experiences the difficulties. We provide 2 sessions of 45 minutes with the child for this.
A report of this research is optional, for which an extra 50 euros will be charged.
IQ-TEST for speech therapy reimbursement
The speech therapist needs an IQ report for the RIZIV to guarantee a refund. A test is taken and a short report is made.

IQ-TEST / DETERMINATION OF DEVELOPMENT LEVEL
This is a comprehensive study to determine a child's developmental level / IQ. It is usually done at the request of parents / school / CLB. In this package, an intake interview is done to clarify the question and to obtain the necessary background information, after which the test is taken. We conduct a debriefing with the parents and draw up a detailed report.

This is a test conducted in children where there is a suspicion of ADHD / ADD. This group training consists of 5 sessions of 90 minutes. When registering, an advance of 50 euros is requested to finalize the registration. The other 150 euros will be paid at the start of the course. This course can only take place if there are enough registrations.

GROUPSESSIONS GRIEVE PROCESSING
5 sessions of 90 minutes are organized in a group of maximum 6 children. When registering, an advance of 50 euros is requested to finalize the registration. The remaining 150 euros will be paid at the start of the first session. These sessions can only take place if there are enough registrations.
GUIDANCE AT HOME
If you opt for home counseling, no extra costs will be charged if the location is within a radius of 10 km from the practice in Maasmechelen (3630). When the displacement is further than this 10km, a fee of 0.3653 euros per extra kilometer is requested. If you have a specific question about this, feel free to contact me! Evening consultations at home will also be possible on weekdays in the Leuven (3000) and Mechelen (2800) regions, the same applies here. This means no extra costs within a radius of 10 km (from the station in Leuven / Mechelen) and again a fee of 0.3653 euros per extra kilometer.
!! CANCELLATION ARRANGEMENT !!
If the appointment is canceled, this must be done no later than 24 hours in advance. If this is not respected, we are forced to charge the full amount of the session.
